India squad for ODI series against England | After beating England 4-1 in the five-match T20I series, the Indian men’s cricket team will now face Jos Buttler’s side in a three-match ODI series. The three 50-over matches between India and Sri Lanka will be played in Nagpur, Cuttack and Ahmedabad on February 6, 9 and 12 respectively as a preparation for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 for both the teams, which is scheduled to be played at three venues in Pakistan and one in Dubai from February 19 to March 9.
Rohit Sharma, who has been terribly out of form in the last three Test series, will lead the Men in Blue in the three ODIs. While big names like Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer and Kuldeep Yadav have also returned to the 50-over game, many of the top players from the recently concluded T20I series will not feature in India’s first ODI series in 2025.
